PALLET DISASSEMBLER

This project was done in my Kinematics and Dynamics course, with three other people involved. The project tested our ability to use the appropriate number of links, while still having a reasonable mechanical advantage to resolve an everyday issue. In the case of the Pallet Disassembler, the goal for our group was to allow laborers to disassemble wooden pallets, while limiting the amount of force needed to do so. Essentially, this would replace the use of a crowbar. The input force was applied to the uppermost link pictured, and the output force was reflected by the upward movement of leftmost link.
